Executing the Anonymous: A Web 3.0 Social Experiment by Peti Triot

Anonymous blockchain artist Peti Triot made their offline debut at Seoul’s Gallery Hwroo with “Zyracy,” the world’s first blockchain-based installation art project organized by Ongroo Inc. Inspired by Hans Haacke’s 1970s artwork News, the exhibition serves as a massive social experiment exploring what suppressed thoughts people express when granted absolute anonymity. Utilizing the Everscale blockchain-based secure messenger ‘Qamon’, public messages are encrypted and permanently stored on the blockchain while being broadcast live via YouTube and Twitter. Hailed as a Web 3.0 collaboration that bridges the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, the project physically manifests this digital anonymity by printing every 144th message on a Braille printer and converting it into an NFT.
